Nova Signal was an early-stage medical startup developing a 5-axis robotic probe guided by artificial intelligence and machine learning. The emerging technology enabled automated ultrasound scanning to support faster and more consistent vascular diagnostics.

The design team was tasked with transforming a crude engineering fixture into a manufacturable medical device suitable for use in a surgical environment. This required translating complex robotic hardware into a refined enclosure that supported sterility, usability, and clinical workflow while accommodating strict mechanical constraints.
