Developed a 12 oz insulated food jar for kids aged 7–12, designed to be durable, easy to open, and visually engaging for everyday lunches and outdoor activities.

Through focus groups and iterative 3D-printed prototypes, we observed how children interacted with the container, specifically grip, opening torque, and durability when dropped. These sessions highlighted the importance of tactile grip surfaces and impact protection that could withstand daily use.

Based on these insights, we developed a silicone boot paired with a TPU overmold on the lid, improving grip for smaller hands while adding protection against drops. The final design combined bright, kid-friendly colorways with robust materials to create a leakproof container that children could open independently.
